 Tl-the contact owns a 2009 ford fusion. the contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph and depressing the brakes, he heard a loud grinding noise. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis where they advised him that the rear brakes and rotors failed and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. the failure and current mileages were approximately 69,000. the vin was unavailable. kmj

 1908 ford fusion rear braking system, brake pads must be replaced at 25,000 miles. rear rotors must be turned. ford motor company refuses to admit problems after call to review issue with my purchased fusion in 2008. loss of rear braking can lead to incident's, crashes and injury. dealer implied that this is an ongoing problem with taurus and fusions.it is my understanding taurus has been recalled for rear brake problems associated with faulty brake pads. *tr
