 Tl* the contact owns a 2010 ford fusion. the contact was in traffic and neither the brake pedal nor the accelerator pedal was depressed when the vehicle began to roll forward. immediately, the vehicle abnormally accelerated to 35 mph. the contact attempted to control the unintended acceleration but the steering wheel and the brakes had become operable. as a result, the contact crashed into another vehicle. the air bags failed to deploy and the front driver side seat belt did not restrain the contact properly. the contact sustained a fractured toe, a bruised sternum and bruising to the forehead. the police reported to the scene and a police report was filed. the contact was transported to the hospital via ambulance. the police inspected the vehicle but could not determine the cause of the failure. the vehicle was towed to a collision center and the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the manufacturer advised the contact that an engineer would be sent to inspect the vehicle. prior to the crash, the contact noticed slight surging and had taken to the vehicle to the dealer for diagnostic testing where the technician recalibrated the computer. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 36,000.

 Tl-the contact owns a 2010 ford fusion. while the vehicle rolled slowly in traffic without the contacts foot on the brake or accelerator pedal the vehicle suddenly accelerated on its own. the contact stated the vehicle lost steering capabilities and the brakes would not respond. the vehicle accelerated to approximately 35 mph and crashed into another vehicle. the air bags did not deploy and the front drivers side seat belt did not restrain the contact properly. the police reported to the scene and a police report was filed. the contact was transported by ambulance to the hospital. the contact sustained a broken toe, a bruised sternum and bruising to her forehead. the police department inspected the vehicle and stated there inspection was inconclusive. they were unable to determine the cause of the failure. the vehicle was towed to a collision center. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a complaint was filed. the manufacturer stated an engineer could come out to inspect the vehicle if the contact filed litigation. prior to the crash the contact noticed slight surging and had taken to the vehicle to the dealer for diagnostic testing. the technician had recalibrated the computer. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 36,000. da

 2010 ford fusion sel. customer writes in regards to continued transmission problems.*smd the consumer stated the transmission would slip harshly and hesitate on acceleration. the recall repair did not correct the transmission problems. it was determined that the valve body and solenoid body were defective. also, one of the tires was leaking air, there was an issue with the traction and brakes. there were noises coming from the front of the vehicle. the steering wheel would not lock into place, the cd player did not work at times, the driver side visor did not stay in place, the gas over flow tube was inoperative, the vehicle would pull hard when the brake was applied. the rear driver's side door had to be slammed extremely hard, in order to close it. the driver's side seat belt was backwards. the passenger side windshield wiper dragged on the windshield and the vehicle would sometimes surge on its own. each time the consumer went to the dealer about certain problems, she was told no problems were found.
