| Defect Summary | Certain aftermarket eibach branded front struts only, part no. 35101.8001, and eibach branded front struts as suspension kits, part nos. 35101.840, 35101.680, 35101.780, 35100.680, 35100.780, 4.10135.680, and 4.10035.780, sold for use on 2005 through 2007 ford mustang vehicles. the front anti roll bar attachment bracket on the front strut can separate from the strut housing due to inconsistent welding. this could result in a clunking noise and or poor handling in extreme or emergency maneuvers. | |||||||||||||||

| My headlights went dim on the expressway almost causing and accident and i been having front suspension issues where you can hear loud banging noise i have change my struts several times i have check for recall and there is a recall notice for both but it does not show on the ford website i found these two recalls id's 77553 and 63858 for my 06 ford mustang can i get some help resolving this issue *tr | |||

| Starting at approx. 50mph i experience a shimmy in the steering wheel, most of the time. from time to time it will not shimmy when i reach the 50mph but as soon as i stop and start again the shimmy returns. i took it back to the dealer and all they did was balance the tires and did not make a difference. so i have had the car aligned, tires/rims force road balanced, new rotors, brake pads,bearings checked and still have the same shimmy. dealer will not help and i nor anyone else knows what to try next. *tr | |||

| After vehicle spent nearly two months in the shop due to ball joint assembly failure the car was put back into my possession. i drove the car from the dealer that it was purchased from to home, approximately 300 miles. i noticed a rubbing noise still coming from the front end of the vehicle. after 1 day of the car being in my possession i heard a rattling sound coming from the rear end of the car. mostly going over small bumps at low speeds. needless to say i have had the vehicle for 5 months and i have spent more time driving my 2001 escort than i have my 2006 gt. sad but true the escort nearly $20,000 less than the gt is safer and more reliable than my brand new off the line vehicle has been. *jb | |||
