My son was involved in a car accident on july 20, 2008 in our 2007 mustang, the airbags didn't deploy and the seat belt didn't properly restraint him. he hit the steering wheel, causing him to nearly kill him. he received a head laceration on his scalp his skull and tissue were showing having to be reattach his scalp with over 80 staples. he now suffers with headaches and the doctors told him he has to be carefully within the next year for fear of reopening the scalp incisions. i believe this is a product liability, you think airbags are going to prevent you from an accident like this and it fails. ford motor company needs to know about this and prevent from someone getting killed. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 ford mustang. while driving between 6- 10 mph, the contact rear ended another vehicle. the seat belt retractor failed and both air bags failed to deploy. the contact's head struck the windshield and the entire front end of the vehicle ended up in her lap. she sustained burns to her legs. a police report was filed. the local dealer stated that because the speed was low at the time of the crash, the air bags did not deploy and the seat belt retractor did not retract. the dealer further stated that this is how the vehicle was designed to perform and there was no failure. the failure and current mileages were 25,000.
