| On the evening of july 22nd the driver's side window made a sharp metal against glass sound as the window retracted into the door. when the glass moved back into its normal (up) position the glass had a deep scratch--large enough to feel with a nail. dealership claims the issue is due to dirt or debris. other forums on ford mustangs suggest the problem is due to the hard plastic gasket on the inner seal of the window. numerous posts/blogs describe the same issue of scratches forming for little known reasons. the dealership declined to cover my damage under warranty. *tr | |||
