| The check engine light.my vehicle (which i purchased new in june 2010) has been to the ford dealer seven time in an attempt to repair an on-going problem with the check engine light. the ford techs have determined that there is a problem with the fuel recovery system however they are unable to repair. i have not driven my vehicle since i picked it up the end of jan. 2011 and the check engine light came on 100 miles from the dealership.i have determined that there is either a problem with the fuel recovery system as the ford techs. say the light indicates or there is a electrical problem with the indicator light. either or of which could cause a fire in my vehicle. i'm a fire investigator and it has been my experience that most accidental vehicle fires are caused by fuel or electrical problems. | |||
