ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING

I financed my car brand new oct 31, 2009, a week later i took it in to dealer because there was rust covering the whole under side. ford sent me away & said this was normal. around dec 2009 there was a loud noise & felt like the engine had literally dropped to the ground. never happened again. the gas also sometimes pauses to accelerate & suddenly jumps forward skipping a gear & jerks the car. passenger airbag panel is partially open & when i push on it, i hear crinkling & it pops back open. the easy fill gas feature allows gas to leak out causing a ring of gas to form below the opening on the exterior panel. i'm so unhappy with these issues i'm here for help.

Braking for traffic signal engine created clunking then whistling noise. it seemed and felt like the engine had fallen onto payment. taking foot off brake the 2010 mustang accelerated on its own. drove home parked called ford and also reported that airbag light passenger airbag light always on. ford towed to nearby dealer, mechanic drove 8 miles could not verify nor duplicate events. *tr

The car will put the automatic transmission in neutral when stopped, and will require an acceleration to cause the car to enter first gear. when this happens, the car lurches forward. this is not every time, but is inconsistent, and leads to a risky situation where there may be a moment of unresponsiveness. the dealer has not been able to replicate the problem.

Tl*the contact owns a 2010 ford mustang. while the contact was driving 5 mph she noticed that the check engine light appeared on the dashboard and within a few minutes the engine suddenly shut off; however, after the vehicle shut off all of the electrical components continued to operate normally. the vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealership and there were no prior warnings. the current and failure mileages were 800.
