I recently just had a recall done on my car. recall - cooling fan motor circuit breaker installation on my 1995 ford mustang tuesday 5/6/03. i picked my car up that wednesday 5/7/03 and now my car is overheating. i am going back and forth with ford service department ar premier ford in grand blanc michigan cause their trying to tell me that what occurred was not likely. they said the recall couldn't have caused this but i beg to differ. i noticed it instantly like the day i drove it, and it started to overheat. i am a technician and i work on instrument panel clusters i know for a fact my car was never overheating before i took it there. i was not having this problem before my car was taken in. i set an appointment to take it in tuesday 5/13/03 to find out what damage occurred, the service manager is trying to convince me it may be my thermostat which may be stuck open. i know there are several complaints of this happening to people after this particular recall was done. several that can be found on the internet. i really like my car and i have been overly satisfied with this up to this point of the recall. i called myself doing the smart thing by finally getting this taken care of now it looks like ford is trying to take me for a ride. a ride that i do not want to go on. i didn't have any major problems like this until i got that recall done i am referring to: recall# tsb number issue date tsb title 01s30 dec 01 recall - cooling fan motor circuit breaker installation i got this recall done at premier ford in grand blanc michigan. (810)695-3000. please advise or i may have to seek legal advise. cause i am convinced after reading about several complaints on the internet following this recall. because it occurs instantly. my vehicle overheated the day recall was done. *jb

At unpredictable moments, usually but not exclusively while slowing to a stop, with my foot on the brake, the engine will rev up and cause the car to lunge forward, instead of staying at idle as it should while coming to a stop. i know this seems incredible, and may be an inaccurate observation on my part, but it seems that the harder that i push down on the brake in these situations, the stronger the engine pulls. the first time this happened, about fourteen months ago, i just about had a heart attack and almost ran into a building, as i was parking the vehicle. this situation happens mostly at red lights and stop signs, always at speeds below fifteen miles per hour without any warning and creates a really serious problem. when it does occur, i have to put the transmission quickly into neutral or turn the key off with the vehicle in gear, to keep from hitting the car in front of me. in situations that allow me the luxury ( no vehicles or other objects close enough to be in danger) i have found that letting my foot completely off the brake pedal, while the engine is revving and the car lunging ever harder forward, will cause the engine to go immediately to idle. this problem then only happened occasionally, for quite a few months, but reappeared last week after i replaced spark plugs and wires. it originally started without anything being done to the car. *nlm

Head gasket failure...after taking my 95 mustang to 3 different ford dealerships over the past 4 years trying to resolve a check eng. light problem and a motor problem i was told it was just bad gas... now that the 7 year/100000 extended warranty is over, ford said it's not their problem and we will not fix it under the warranty. the car has 87000 miles and is past the 7 years by 6 months. and get this... the one dealership that spent the most time on the problem said they never had the car there and show no records of there being a problem. i have service records and service tickets from this dealership. wow talk about not standing behind a product.

The paint on my white convertable mustang has been peeling for the last 3 years above the windshield,i have been spot patching it. well the other day while washing it the paint on the rear panel just flew off and has water under an extremely large piece that will soon fall off without getting it repaired.the paint has always seem to not really been adheared to the car well.have also had to have the front bumper repainted prier to this. what is wrong with the paint? it should wear out not fall off! *ak
