I bought a new 2006 ford ranger sports truck from akins ford in april 2006. the truck had goodyear wrangler tires on the truck when i bought it. i rotated the truck several times since owning the truck and have even had a flat tire. the tire was replace, repaired and then put back on the truck. i was preparing for a highway trip to new orleans, so i was having the tires rotated when i discovered that all 4 four of the tires were dryrotting. each tire had evidence of the dryrotting on the inside (the opposite side from the raised white lettering) of the tire. i contacted goodyear customer service and referred to a local goodyear dealer. the examined the tires and estimated that i had 50% wear left on the tires. my truck has 74,000+ miles on the original tires. goodyear was only willing to prorate the remaining wear for the cost of new set of goodyear. i did not want another set of goodyear since the problem was new tires that were dryrotted and surely had not planned to purchase a new set of tires at this time. my greatest concern was my safety and the safety of others while i was driving. *tr
