Tl*the contact owns a 2007 ford ranger. while driving 90 mph, the odometer went down and the vehicle began to sputter and jerk. when the contact slowed the vehicle down, the sputtering and jerking ceased. the dealer stated that nothing could be done because the engine was designed in that manner. the service manager was notified. the vehicle was built so that the tires would not explode when driving 90 mph. the contact stated that all this information about the engine should have been disclosed when the vehicle was purchased. the failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 23,000.
