| Tl-the contact stated her uncle owned a 2008 ford ranger. while merging onto the interstate at 35 mph the road was wet he lost control of the vehicle and crash into rocks on the side of the road. the vehicle went up in the air flipped once rolled on the driver side landed back on the wheels and the air bags did not deploy. the vehicle was total and he was the only occupant in the vehicle with his seat belt on but he died on the scene. there is a police report available if needed. the dealer was called and stated they will make a note of it. the manufacturer was contacted who stated they will send some forms out for them to be filled out. the failure mileage was 27,129..-mw | |||

| I had a front end impact with a dirt embankment going between 40-45 mph head on and the air bags did not deploy. my truck substained around $15,000 worth of damage. they claim that my husbands passenger was not heavy enough to deploy the airbags , he weighed around 189 pds. they had to replace the airbag sensors and modulors. now when someone sits in the passengers seat it says that it is not activated. i don't feel safe in this truck any more. my husband broke his back in 2 spots and ruptured 2 disks, he had to have back surgery and i think if the airbags deployed this would not of happened, | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2008 ford ranger sport. the contact stated that the air bag did not deploy after an accident. the driver hit a dirt embankment going 45 mph and none of the air bags deployed. the vehicle hit with such force that the entire frame had to be replaced. the vehicle was towed to the dealer and the dealer stated that they were surprised the air bags did not deploy. since having the vehicle repaired that sensor for the passenger seat air bag says that the air bags are not activated. the failure mileage was 32770 and the current mileage was 34685.rl | |||
