 Tl- the contact owns a 2008 ford ranger. the contact stated while driving at low speeds, the driver sneezed and crashed into the curb which caused the contact to bounce onto the passengers side of the vehicle. the driver sustained injuries to his neck, shoulder and a minor concussion. the police were notified of the failure and a police report was filed. the vehicle was towed. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure and current mileage was approximately 6,000. rvk

 Tl*the contact owns a 2008 ford ranger. while attempting to rotate the tires, the contact noticed that the tire tread was chopping or uneven. the dealer stated that the tire wear was a result of pulling his trailer on the rear of the vehicle without using the trailer pulling device. the owner's manual stated that the vehicle should be able to carry between 3,000-3,500 lbs. ford refused to replace the tires, which were not covered under warranty. the dealer was instructed by ford to adjust the torsion bar. the failure was discovered to be a mechanical issue, rather than a tire issue. the vin was unknown. the failure mileage was 8,300 and current mileage was 9,136. updated 09/23/08 *bf the consumer stated the vehicle would sway and vibrate due to the chopped tires. updated 10/01/08. *jb
