| Defect Summary | Children can accidentally lock themselves in the footwell area of the rear-facing third seat, or in the storage compartment in station wagons not equipped with an optional third seat. once the compartment is closed it cannot be opened from the inside. | |||||||||||||||

| During hot weather bolts holding alloy wheel to axle shearing. first on july 5, 1999, and second on may 3, 2000. on the first occasion three bolts sheared on the left front wheel and one on the right front. on the second occasion two bolts sheared on the left front wheel. both instances occured during hot weather with temps in the low 90's. | |||
