| Driving on a straight away at about 55 mph., the car suddenly pulled to the left. the driver could not regain control of the vehicle, which resulted in a rollover accident. driver and passenger did not hear anything prior to the sudden pull. the car spun around and hit the gravel on the side of the road then continued to roll down the hill. at least 2 rollovers. air bags did not deploy. i'm concerned there might have been a problem with suspension or coil springs suddenly blowing out a tire. i will be contacting a mechanic on monday and schedule an inspection. car is totaled. insurance does not cover vehicle, but fortunately covers medical and liability. fortunately the driver and passenger, at this point, appear to have walked away relatively unharmed. *tr | |||

| This is in regards to a 2003 ford ses taurus air bags failed to deploy in an accident when the car was in a direct hit in front and totaled with 12,000 of damage including block cracked on engine. vin # 1fafp55s23g222800. note this car we requested to have replaced under the lemon law and went all the way and couldn't get any help from anyone to get anything done. please help us in resolve for our needs resolve but not to let another person get hurt and or abused as such. there was injuries in this case and i do have a full sent of photos to fax. sincerely its time to stop this type of irresponsible actions. *jb | |||

| 2003 ford taurus has problems with transmission, engine backfiring, hood latch is broken, and seat bracket fell off. *mr the tires were continuously going flat. six flats occurred while the consumer was on a trip, the transmission was slipping and would jerk in traffic, the engine would back fire intermittently and stalled on one occasion, the seat bracket was replaced by the dealer but failed again (the seat bracket was incorrectly installed from the start), the engine also displayed knocking and had taken about 9 visits before the problem was corrected, it was discovered that a valve was sticking out. the a/c did not cool, the consumer smelled coolant which leaked inside the vehicle. the tires and rims were a problem and the vehicle had been in for repairs about 18 visits/two rear tires remained a problem due to severe inflation problems and the tires would need to be inflated several times daily. the consumer requested another vehicle. *sc the gas mileage was poor. tire loosing air pressure from the time of purchase. *tc the consumer was involved in an accident on 2-25-06 and the air bags failed to deploy. updated 03/29/06. *jb | |||

| The driver side air bag of my 2003 taurus deployed for no apparent reason while i was driving. i was traveling on a two lane road at 30 mph when it deployed. i swerved to the left and recovered and pulled over and stopped. i thought the car had been hit by a large rock on the side of the car. on inspection there was no injury to the car. i was taking my son home from our vacation home in nh when it occurred. the ford dealership replaced all the air bag elements but could not tell me why it deployed. both the dealership and ford motor said that they would be unwilling to guarantee that it won't happen again. *nm | |||
