2003 ford taurus sec wagon with a leaky windshield. water got into my a/c blower fan housing and shorted out the a/c blower fan, caused the blower fan to fail, the automatic temperature resister switch and the 40 amp fuse in the same system due to water entering into the car from the windshield and cowl design flaw. the result is a loss of defroster and anti-fog capability resulting in a severe loss of visability due to a loss of said capability and/or functionality.

In line with numerous other reports about the 2003 ford taurus, my blower motor and resister have failed due to a water leak on the front passenger side. as a consequence, i cannot defog the windshield while driving. the result lack of visibility is dangerous for my passengers and for nearby cars. correcting this problem is not a simple matter of replacing the blower motor, but also requires a complicated repair of the causative leak. i request nhtsa to look into the numerous complaints like mine and work with ford in issuing a recall for this issue.

I have just purchased a 03 taurus which leaked water onto the passenger floor board also causing my ac blower motor to short out. when it is raining, humid or later when it gets cold there will be no way to keep the windshield clear of interior condensation or frost. this will make driving dangerous if caught in a storm. i have been able to get ford to act even though a related recall existed under 03v087000. i have found many others with this problem. i have read the descriptions related to recall number 03v087000 and ford tsb 04-15-3. i also see there is an existing complaint number to nhtsa: 10184014. the water leaks during storms regardless of whether the car is driving or sitting still. the fan first would only run on high speed and now won't run at all. this is an known design defect and i am frustrated that i can't get it remedied by ford.

My taurus's blower motor stopped functioning in december 2009. i believe the cause is a water leak or blown a/c heater blower motor. i think the leak dumped water onto the passenger floor board also caused my ac blower motor to short out, needing a replacement. after browsing the internet to see if other ford taurus owners had the same or a similar problem, this seems to be a recurring issue with the 2003 ford taurus. *tr

Blower motor in my 2003 taurus only runs on high. this has been an ongoing issue with year and model. water leaks in and burns the blower out. recently had to drive with no defroster ond ue to no blower. had the blower replaced now it only runs on high,it apparently needs a new resistor. there have been many complaints and nothing has been done about it. *tr

About 3 months ago, my windshield wipers began turning themselves on and off for various lengths of time, while switched off. now they run almost non stop. dealer suggests multifunction switch (i changed it -didn't work), or a gem module. a search at taurus car club sites shows this to be a common problem. consumer reports identifies overall electrical problems in all taurus' to be a common issue. *tr

I currently own a 2003 ford taurus sedan. twice in the last 2 or 3 years i noticed water on the carpet on the front passenger side of the vehicle. well, over the last few weeks the blower motor started acting abnormally. finally, on february 23, 2009, i had to take the car to a local dealer to have the blower motor, a resistor bank, a piece of cowl top plastic and some weatherproof gasket replaced. i learned just prior to taking the vehicle in that there was a tsb about this same problem for a range of vehicles built between 2001 and 2003. the cost of these repairs was $237.00 in labor and approximately $200.00 in parts. i am annoyed and irritated that ford motor company still can't learn how to make cars, test them as long as they do, build them and then i experience this particular problem that they already knew about, six years after purchasing the vehicle brand new. it was also a potential safety hazard that the blower failed during extremely cold weather operations. i had to park the vehicle at home because there was no heat or any way to defrost the inside of the windshield. *tr

I had the problem that my blower would only work on high speed. my mechanic knew right away that it was the blower motor resistor. so went to ford and bought a new one and replaced it. after about a month i had the same problem. it worked only on high. i had it like this for about a month when i lost the blower completely. went to my mechanic again and he took out the motor, at which time we turned it over and out came about a 1/2 cup of water. water is all over the glove box. also like other complaints on the windshield the button rubber piece has expanded so what flows through there to the glove box. *tr

About 3 weeks ago, the heating/air conditioning on my 2003 ford taurus would only work on a high setting. a couple days later, it stopped working altogether. i took it into a mechanic, who replaced the blower motor and the resistor for over $400. two weeks later, the blower motor went out again. i went to some random forum, and saw over one-hundred people upset because they own an 02 or 03 taurus, and they have the same problem with their blowers. and there has never been a recall? i can't imagine how many taurus owners are having this exact problem. all i know is that it is 20 degrees where i live right now and is going to be colder tomorrow. not only is this uncomfortable, it is dangerous. it is clear that many others have complained about the same situation, so it's clear to me that nothing will be done. i just don't know what to do. *tr

Water leak at front passenger side, replaced blower motor, resistor and cowl, still leaks. reference recall 03v087000 and many additional complaints from owners, specifically 10184014. there was water leaking at passenger dash area on and off since 07. it hadn't leaked in quite a while so i didn't worry about it. the dealer said it would cost about $250.00 to fix and i was waiting to see if it kept up or got worse. then the blower quit working. i spent $373.14 for a new blower motor, resistor assy, weatherstrip, cowl panel and sealant. on the 28th of december, 2008 my front passenger floor was again, full of water. note, this had not happened for many months and should have been fixed with the new cowl put on on december 9th. i asked the dealer if the previous water problem caused the blower motor to go bad. he said it was hard to say. evidently it was hard to say because it says right on the receipt water in blower case. i bought the car in october of 03 (as a used vehicle but still under warranty with only 18,408 miles on it) but was never notified of a recall for this problem. i understand there is a service bulletin out for this problem now. i have been going to the same dealer since april 9th, 04. can you tell me if the recall was in effect at this time or how long the recall was in effect? this is very discouraging. where are the ethics from ford for taking ownership of this problem? maybe i should file for my own bail out, with the amount of water leakage i've had, i'll probably need it. thank you for your consideration in this matter. jeanne acheson *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2003 ford taurus. in rainy weather conditions, the contact noticed a large puddle of water on the front passenger side floor. the failure occurs in any type of condition that involves moisture. upon further investigation, it was determined that water was entering the vehicle through the windshield. without repair, water could seep into the heater, burn out the motor, and cause mold to form. the vehicle was not taken to the dealer for inspection or repair. the contact is in the process of notifying the manufacturer. the failure mileage was 70,000 and current mileage was 90,000.

I own a 2003 ford taurus which experienced a heater motor and heater switch failure last year. i replace the components myself for around $250.00. this year i have been experiencing water in the passenger side floor after heavy rains and have not been able to determine the cause or location of the water entering the vehicle. this week with the torrential rains we have been experiencing, water was found coming out of my heater motor and heater and draining onto the passenger side foot well carpet while using my heater and defroster. once i got home i removed the heater motor from the air duct and approximately 8 oz. of water poured out on the floor. i surmised the water of this great volume was coming in through the windshield. i search the internet to see if there were other occurrences of this situation and on you web site i found there was a compliance recall on this issue on march 3, 2003 on vehicles built between october 29, 2001 and april 27, 2002 regarding windshield retention requirements. i am filling this complaint on november 17, 2008 in hope other owners will be notified of this defect(s). this poses a considerable financial undertaking by the consumer should the water infiltrate the electrical harness in the suspect vehicles and cause consider electrical component damage within said vehicles. to date i have not received any notification from ford regarding my 2003 ford taurus se with a manufacture date of 12/02 vin.#. i feel the nhtsa should institute an national recall on said vehicles since we are talking about a major fleet model driven vehicle as well one the highest volume model cars driven in fords history my the consumer in general. your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. i look forward to your need response on this damaging situation that most consumers have no knowledge of. sincerely, j. christopher veach. *tr

I have two vehicles and rarely drive my newer car in the rain. i took my newer car on vacation and was returning home when it started to rain. a couple days afterwards i was headed to work when my car started to fog up. i turned on the defrost fans and could barely hear the motor running. i turned to high where it ran for about 1 minute before completely failing. i figured that maybe my blower was failing. i searched on the internet and found that this is not an unusual problem with the 2003 taurus and is a known problem (recall number 03v087000 and complaint 10184014). from what i am hearing, water is leaking into the blower unit and causing it to fail. the blower is in a completely useless due to this leak. i have called the dealership and they said it would be about $500 to fix. this is ridiculous for a design flaw in the manufacturing process. this is a safety issue and a design flaw on the vehicle. the blower was working during and up to the several hours of driving in the rain. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2003 ford taurus. on several occasions, after it had been raining, a puddle of water was found on the passenger side floor. after entering the vehicle and attempting to defrost the windshield, the vehicle blew out cold air. the vehicle was taken to a dealer and they stated that the blower motor failed due to the interior of the vehicle leaking under the dashboard when it rained. the current mileage was 74,500 and failure mileage was 60,000.

Noticed pool of water on passenger side floor. at same time tried to run defroster and the fan would not turn on at all. checked all fuses which were good. mechanic assessed that the blower motor was not working. contacted ford dealer, was told that this is a known problem with this car and could be fixed at my expense. they would need to replace the cowl, seal the leak and replace the motor. this is not just an inconvenience, but a safety issue. visibility is affected with no way to defrost the windows. *tr

After a strong rain, a leaky cowl in my 2003 taurus let water into my blower motor and shorted it out. the fan only worked on high. i had it fixed once, and then after another storm it immediately shorted out again. then, in the last week (9/1/92008), it stopped working all together, even on high. ford has issued a related recall for a leaky windshield (03v087000), but will not fix this issue, even though it is a known problem. when i went in to talk with ford, they were aware of the problem, but said since it was not yet recalled, they would not fix it for free. i have not as of yet had this replaced again. *tr

Notice about 2 weeks ago that our blower motor was not working at all times. it has progressively gotten worse and now does not work at all. we cannot heat or cool the vehicle or defrost the windshield or side windows. i know the temp control is working because when i turn the ac on there is a faint feeling of cold when i hold my hand on the vents. i actually work for a ford dealer and was told that yes it is a known defect where water leaks in and shorts out the fan module. the dealer told me they would install a new fan and shield so it does not happen again but it would be at my own expense. ford has issued a technical service bulletin according to our advisors but not a recall as they don't feel it is a safety issue. how can this not be a safety concern if you can't clear your windows? *tr

The a/c - heater blower motor stopped working due to a water leak through the cabin filter into the motor housing. it just stopped working. i took it to ford and they replaced the blower motor, resistor, cowl and new weatherstripping at a cost of $465.01. since there is a tsb from ford regarding this, i feel that it should be expanded to an all out recall. ford knows that it is a bad design and ford needs to make good on it's products. *tr

About 3-4 weeks ago my heater/air conditioner blower starting working on high only. about 1 week ago the blower motor went out all together. i also have water leaking into the passenger floor board (not heater core, since it has not smell). this water has been leaking for a long time but no one could ever find where it was coming from. considering the number of complaints for the same thing there should be a recall for this repair. *tr

I started having problems with the a/c blower motor on my car about a month ago. yesterday, 04/23/2008, the blower motor resistor went out causing the blower to work only on high. today, 04/24/2008, the blower motor completely stopped blowing. i know that there is a tsb out for this problem and have read several different websites where other owners have experienced the same problem. this is something i think ford should recall and fix at their expense. if they know it is a problem fix it! why should i have to pay for a repair that is a manufacturer defect? *tr

I was driving my 2003 ford taurus on february 5, 2008, when the blower motor ceased working. i also noticed that there was a water leak on the passenger floor board. *tr when i took my car to goodyear i was told that the water leak caused my blower motor to short out. i understand that this is a mechanical problem and the ford motor company should be responsible for the expense of time lost from work and the following costs: r/r blower motor, $88.00; new blower motor, $110.21; cabinet air filter gasket and blower weatherstrip $27.73; r/r/ cabin filter gasket $70.40 and the costs of installation of the air filter $29.66. the total is $362.82. i am referencing ford's existing recall number, 03v087000 and the complaint of william ford #10184014.

I have a 2003 ford taurus and every time it's setting out in a moderate to heavy rain the right front floorboard gets saturated with water. i've had to replace the blower resistor twice and the blower motor once and the motor in it now is going out. why isn't ford being held responsible for the repairs and costs affiliated with this manufacturing defect and the costs incurred on those of us unfortunate enough to have purchased one of them? due to this issue i nearly had an accident on 03/08/10 when my windshield fogged during a rainstorm and i lost almost all visibility. if i hadn't known the area very well plus 25 years of law enforcement driving i very well could have been seriously injured or killed. nhtsa needs to act on this asap before someone is killed. my name is [xxx] and i can be contacted at [xxx], in mesa, arizona. my car is usually under cover and it flooded with water also in feb. 2009 &feb. 2010, when it was standing out in the rain, not being operated but just out in the rain. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr

Within the last month (early feb. 2008) i had noticed a small leak on the passenger side floor mat after a brief warming period (and melting of some snow). then just last week (feb. 18th, 2008) my 1-3 levels of my fan were no longer operating. then on feb. 23, 2008, the 4th and final still operating fan level stopped working as well. i checked all fuses applicable and it turns out that it is most likely the blower resistor that is no longer in operation. now i have no heat or defrost and it makes life more difficult when i need to leave promptly and i can't see out my windows. *tr

I purchased an 03 ford taurus 5 months ago from a ford dealership in pa. upon the winter season's arrival, i turned on my heat to hear a loud squeaking noise. i took my car to a repair shop where i was told that my blower motor was full of water due to a faulty cowl on the car. i was told that ford was aware of this defect, and that it was semi common, but that ford was not going to cover it under a recall. i was also informed that i would have to pay 500.00 to replace the cowl, the blower motor and a resistor. i called ford to voice my anger about the situation and their response was there were basically not enough complaints and that it was not serious enough to warrant a recall. i disagree. i drive my 1 year old daughter around in the car. i am unable to defrost my windshield because of this, and can often not see out of my winder without rolling them down to let the fog lift off the windows. this is unacceptable. someone could die as a result of this defect. ford must be held responsible for this. there was an apparent related recall, but ford still did not and will not take action. 03v087000 <--- recall. *tr

My wife noticed water poring out in the passenger floorboard of her 2003 ford taurus. she was aggravated by this, but had no mechanical failures and did not worry too much about it. then she had her defroster fail while driving. this caused an issue, because she was not able to get home immediately and had to use a rag to clear the windshield to drive home. she told me about it and refused to drive anywhere with our children until the problem was resolved. i found water in the vent and had to replace the blower motor. the fan now runs, but only runs on high because another component failed that controls the fan speed. when i contacted the ford dealership, they stated they were well aware of this issue, but no recall had been filed. i looked up recall info on the ford site by vin and it stated none were active. a quick search on the web will show i am not the only one with this issue. i believe this is a major safety hazard an inability to clear the windshield impairs the ability to see where you are going and recognize any hazards. *tr

Our 2003 ford taurus started to leak from somewhere. the floors became wet when it rained. we took the car to the ford dealership and they fixedthe problem. this happened 3 more times each time they claimed to have fixed the problem. we were left without a car for a week the last time ,and still we have problems with the car. the water damage has left my car with a foul smell and has shorted out our blower for the second time. ford in waterbury ct has given up on the car and claimed that they cannot find where the water is coming from. this happened over the course of about 1 1/2 years. since this time our warranty has ran out and the problem is not fixed. we are aware of recall # 03v087000, but we are not sure if this is part of it. i have researched the internet to find many descriptions of ford models 2001-2003 with this same problem. at this point the value of my taurus has dropped significantly, and i cannot trade in this car knowing that this problem has not been resolved. i'm not sure anyone would even want this car at this point. we are very frustrated and feel ripped off by ford. this was a beautiful car when we bought it but is now plagued by water damaged carpets and unhealthy mold. the heater/ac/blower does not work and on very cold, icy, or hot days it cannot be driven due to safety hazards.*ak please help us to resolve this problem we have nowhere left to turn. ford taurus 4 dr sedan tan. *ak

I noticed a puddle of water in my passenger side floor board. shortly after, the heat started to kick off and on, then eventually kicked off completely. now, we just replaced the heater and air conditioner motor blower and relay because the motor burned out due to excessive water damage. this water damage is apparently caused by a design defect that has not yet been recalled by ford on the 2003 taurus. i found this out by other 2003 taurus owners and by the auto repair shop employee who mentioned that this is very common with the 2003 taurus. now i'm out $300.00 in parts and repairs for a design defect that can continue to cause water damage and keep putting me out of money for repairs. *jb

Blower motor switch quit working. is due, as i understand, to a defect in manufacturing and/or design in blower motor case which allows water to get in and ruin the resister switch. eventually blower motor switch quits working altogether. when this happens there is no defrost or defogger which affects visibility. this happens according to a google search and tsb# 031506 frequently. ford in the case of the 1996 contour gave a ten yr. coverage due to similar problem. *nm

Dt*: the contact stated water leaked onto the passenger floor board through the blower motor vents causing the defroster/fogger blower motor to short out. the vehicle stalled out suddenly without warning while driving 55 mph on two occasions. also, the engine will stall while idling. all of the warning lights blinked on/off prior to stalling. an independent mechanic replaced the blower motor and ran a diagnostic test, but could not duplicate the stalling problem. the dealership was aware of the problem.

Purchased used '03 taurus ses from non-ford dealer, on 3/2/06. april 22, after heavy rain noticed puddle of water on passenger side floor. following monday morning during drive to work...still raining and misty...windows fogging up...turn on heater/defogger/ac...not working! call dealer to advise of the water and heater/ac not functioning...advised still covered under 3/36 factory warranty...however, ford advised warranty expired 3/31/06. dealer then had their mechanic take a look...advised there's a leak behind firewall causing water to get in...and also cause of motor blower not working...est. $500-600 to repair...not including part for motor blower! they would need to contact ford about price on motor blower...i decide to check pricing online and discovered the numerous complaints from other consumers! contacted ford customer relations asking if they could make an exception on having covered under warranty as it was not quite 30 days beyond expiring. they contacted service mgr. at ford dealer closest to me...told that they would agree to repair work according to ford's guidelines and discount repair cost...i dropped car off today for them to asses the problem which will cost $80 on top of the $109 paid to other dealers mechanic. i'd left several messages with service mgr...to discuss...never called back! i put $4k down payment on this vehicle and only about to make 2nd car note...i'm certain that i, like many others who've complained, will be responsible for the costly repair. *nm

During a snow fall, my wife had just started her 2003 taurus and turned the heater/defroster motor on high. she cleaned snow off the exterior windows and when she re-entered the car, the blower was not running; it would not run at any speed. she had to drive home with no heater/defroster working. she had no choice because she had to get home. this type failure has occurred on many taurse's. service bulletin 031506 has been issued and ford has redesigned the replacement blower, a tacit admission that the original design was faulty. when the ford dealer called me with description and cost of repairs i specifically asked if a tsb had been issued, the ford dealership told me no tsb had been issued. the car was 6 weeks out of warranty and the repairs cost me $450. i have owned about 2 dozen various american cars over about 35 years and i know american car quality has improved tremendously since the 70's. but any company that treats its customers the way i was treated in this case deserves to continue losing market share. i actually hate to have to say this, but our next 2 cars will probably be japanese. *jb

I found this web site ( ttp://forums.carreview.com/show thread.php?t=2030 ) while looking for information on how to change the heater fan blower resister on my 2003 ford taurus. what was described on this site is exactly what happened to me a couple months ago. my wife noticed a puddle of water on the passenger's side front of the car. not long later the fan for the heater went out. the above mentioned site said that a ford admitted design defect allowed water to get into the heater system and causes the blower to go out. this is definitely a safety issue because i can't drive my car when it is cold because the front window will fog up and i can't safely see out the window. i feel that ford should replace the resister/ blower motor or whatever went out on my 2003 ford taurus to cause the fan to quit working and they should fix the design defect that allowed water into the heating system. thank you for your time, i hope something can be resolved soon.*ak

I had noticed some water leaking into the passenger side floorboard but could not determine it's source. apparently, a cowl (i may be misspelling) was cracked and leaking into the blower motor which caused the blower motor to fail. the $400 dollar repair is hefty but i don't have much choice. with a michigan winter right around the corner, a broken blower would be a huge safety issue as my windshield defrost won't work. the dealer said this is a common problem which sounds absurd for a car that is only two years old. apparently, ford has issued a technical service bulletin regarding this issue and developed a kit which solves the problem. they are aware of the problem and should not expect their customers to pay for an obvious design flaw which may compromise a passenger's safety. *nm

Recently i noticed that there was water leaking into the passenger side floorboard after a heavy rain. a day later, my air conditioning stopped working and i could hear a gurgling sound coming from the system. i took it to the dealership and they told me that they had to install a rainhat kit over the cabin filter to prevent water from leaking into the blower motor by way of the cabin filter. well, the question becomes, why wasn't there anything there before? i went home and did some research and saw that ford issued the following tsb regarding the issue: 14 of 53: visibility:defroster/defogger system:windshield:blower bulletin date: aug 2004water in the blower case or on the passenger side floor, an inoperative climate control blower motor, a motor that operates on high speed only, and/or a blower motor resistor failure. vehicles built 5/1/2001 to 12/15/2003. *tt repair was $500. he's my concern. ford must have known there was design flaw if they (a) posted a tsb and (b) developed a rainhat kit to solve this problem. basically any owner that has a car built between those times will be doomed to pay this repair if they weren't lucky enough to have this fail before the warranty expired. i think that's absurd! i've talked with other owners and they were lucky enough to notice the leak before their blowers went out. the dealerships charged them upwards of $100 to install the rainhat kit. if i would have known that this was a problem i would have gladly paid $100 for the kit rather than $500. my dealership even admitted that this happens quite often, but they can't do anything about cost until ford issues a recall. again, this is a design flaw that needs to be addressed by ford. i don't believe it's right for the consumer to have to pay for a product design flaw. the safety concern here is of course the windshield defogger not being able to operate.

I own a 2003 ford taurus and at 47,000 miles the fan blower went out! i had no heat being forced out of my vents. now at that low of miles should it have went out so early?? i had a $500 repair bill after that because i was told my car wasn't running smothly and it needed to have emission cleaning done on it. that costed me another $80. in my personal opinion my car was running very smoothly and the motor was practically silent when running. *ak

*tr

On feb 9, 2006 our blower motor would only work on high. we took it in then and they replaced the resistor, never mentioning a potential water problem that would lead to blower motor failure. on june 25, 2006 our blower motor went out. we took it in again and were told a water leak caused this & they replaced it & told us about a bonnet they could install so this doesn't happen again. we feel we should have been told in february about this problem and given the chance to purchase the bonnnet at that time, instead of paying for a new blower motor in june. we feel these should have been put on these vehicles in the first place and none of this would have happened. *jb

Heating system does not operate properly. variations in temperature are up to 20 degrees between dash vents. when heat is set at floor and dash vents, defrost vents provide 60 degrees. this, at times, causes windshield to not clear snow as it freezes upon impact. variation in heat causes driver and passenger discomfort and requires excessive manipulation of controls to maintain some comfort. this decreases driver alertness. cold from front defrost requires driver to seek ways to keep hands warm, such as sitting on them or wearing gloves. ford and local dealer advise there is no problem.*ak

*tr

Car has a faulty windshield installation as described in recall number 03v087000. there is excess wind noise and squeaks and rattles at speed, and the window leaks on the passenger side during heavy rain and in the car wash. the local ford dealerships have been unresponsive, as they claim the vin number does not appear in their system as being eligible for this recall. *tr

I was online checking for an ac/heater blower motor as it only works on high. i discovered a recall for the mercury sable (03v087000) regarding the windshield leaking water onto the passenger side floor. the leak drips on the ac/heater fan motor causing it to short out and to stop operating. i live in wa, i found water on the passenger side floor several times but never found the leak. i see there have been many complaints about this problem. for a temporary repair, i can replace the blower for $500. for a permanent fix, i will also have to replace the windshield, another $500. thanks ford, you recalled the problem on the mercury sable, why not the taurus. *tr

 1) normal use. 2) water leaked into heater blower motor of 2003 ford taurus. blower motor failed. heater resister also failed. 3) installed new blower motor and resistor. need to purchase additional parts from tsb 04-15-3 so problem does not repeat. appears to be poor original engineering that would cause this to occur. there is a related recall, 03v087000 and also a prior complaint 10184014. thank you! *jb

I own a 2003 ford taurus ses. it has always had a front window water leak, however in the last few months the leak has made the vehicle impossible to drive when the weather is inclement. the vin of this taurus is 1fafp5su33g123307. today i had the windshield removed and the glass installer told me that the reason the windshield leaked is that there was no adhesive at both of the bottom corners of the glass, and that this allowed the water to enter the cabin area. it was so bad that during the last few weeks, there would be water dripping from the lower parts of the dash board and the water had filled the heater fan housing, frozen and made the fan totally inoperable. this is definitely a safely issue as the fan was totally inoperable and would not allow the de-fogging of the windshield. *jb

Dt: the windshield has a glare. the glare mirrors the dashboard onto the windshield. there is a light tint, but the consumer says one can not tell that there is. the dealer said they could not correct the problem, it was manufactured that way. no corrections or repairs have been made at this time. the consumer has taken the vehicle to the ford dealer for this , and they simply said they could not do anything about it. *ak
