| I have been having problems in which the accelerator sticks while driving. it is differcult to slow the vehicle to a stop. it has also stuck when the car is started. at times the car will not start properly, only after repeated tries will it turn over. | |||

| Our companmy has 2 of the 2005 ford taurus. both bought new from ford dealer. within weeks of each other in year 2009 both experienced major problem. the vehicle would accelerate while driving and while at stop. driver could not brake to deactivate cruise or put car in nuetral to slow down. rpms reved very high. driver had to keep both feet on brake to keep car from moving when at stop. both taken to ford dealership for work. different things were done to prevent. i have recently read an article on investigation into this same problem. i felt it important to relay this information. | |||
