| Tires had 16,000-miles , tire came apart on i-70 in colorado at 75 m.p.h. was able to maintain control.went to the firestone dealer and got new tire free of charge. the following year the remaining 3-tires cracked all the way around sidewall. i went to the firestone dealer and they adjusted the 3-tires for 16.00 dollars. my quetsion is are these tires safe to drive? has anyone else complained about this size? i have all the adjustment papers in my files. signed: gary salyer. *ak (tiresize: p21570 r15)( dot number: tire size: p21570 r15 ) | |||

| Initially it felt as though a tire was out of balance, later in the trip the tire began thumping as if it were square. inspecting the tire i found that the tread was twisting out of shape and that chunks of rubber had come off of the tire.*ak | |||

| The tread on all four firestone tires (fr 680 p21570r15) are beginning to separate from the sidewall, dealer agreed this is the beginning of tread separation but says firestone is not recall this size tire and to take the vehicle back to ford. nlm | |||
