 While shifting gear vehicle failed to do so on its on. consumer noticed that the overdrive and engine light flashed on the dashboard and remained on. vehicle started shaking uncontrollably. however, consumer was able to maintain control of the vehicle, and drove it to the dealer for inspection. mechanic determined that transmission needed to be replaced due to a worn shaft and other parts. *ak
