Several problems involving 36' 5th wheel cardinal by forest river. *mr the shackles were broken on the right rear axle, the shackles were all loose on both sides and caused the plate to rub the tire which had blown out, there was awning which was not usable when the consumer pulled out straight, the back window leaked, the large slides would stick and was hard to bring in, and the 12-volt system was not working, was repaired, and a week later it failed again. the consumer requested a refund of the repair costs. *scc *jb | |||

When the oven is in useand stove top becomes hot the burner controls freeze up. if a top burner is in use this prohibits the burner from being shut off. this allows a very hazardous condition if stove top burner cannot be shut off- the flow of propane continues , and in the event of a stove fire could be extremely dangerous. *ak | |||

Tires on trailer blew out at 2,000 miles and at 3,000 miles. *mr the left front tire had blown and was completely shredded. a portion of the tire was wrapped around the axle and the consumer was forced to place a cooper tire on the rv. a thousand miles later, the right rear tire had blown. the dealer replaced both of these at no cost other than the mounting and the valve stems which were shredded. upon returning home, the consumer discovered the right front tire had a sidewall bulge. (upon the removal from the trailer, tread separation at three separate points were verified by two local independent tire dealers) the right rear tire had blown again with significant damage to the trailer.
