Defect Summary	Forest river is recalling certain my 2003-2006 motor homes, fifth wheel and travel trailers equipped with a two-door refrigerator manufactured by the dometic corporation. the refrigerator may have a defect in the boiler tube. pressurized coolant solution could be released into an area where an ignition source (gas flame) is present.
Consequence Summary	If this solution is exposed to an ignition source under certain specific circumstances, it can result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective Summary	Forest river is working with dometic to repair these refrigerators (please see 08e032). dometic will repair these refrigerators by installing a secondary burn housing, a thermal fuse, and a melt fuse free of charge. dometic has retained stericycle inc. to manage this campaign. stericycle will assist the owner in locating dealerships or service centers and will provide assistance with scheduling of appointments. owners may contact dometic/stericycle at 1-888-446-5157 or forest river at 1-574-389-4600.

	Dt: the contact owns a 2005 sandpiper t235 manufactured by horse river. the contact states that she is having problems with the trailer such as trailer hitch/the queen size bed/zipper in the back, stable check levers/the water heater, which does not have hot water/the heater/the microwave with burn marks and does not close/stereo/electrical cord hanging by a thread/battery that went dead, and she touched the metal under the trailer and got shocked/sockets had burn marks, and other problems. she was considering doing a buy back with this trailer because the manufacturer was not willing to help her. the warranty will expire out in october, and she feels repairs will not be done before then. ak the consumer stated she was electrocuted and has been having electrical problems since the rv was purchased. updated 11/29/05. jb

	While towing trailer out of the desert, the tongue of the trailer bent to a 45 degree angle causing the trailer to drop down and caused the propane bottles to crack and the gas started to leak. nm the jackstands broke underneath and the front of trailer got stuck in the sand. bf *nm

	The tongue on the consumer's 2005 forest river sandpiper bent causing the propane bottles to break and leak. nm the front of the trailer started to drag and ripped off the jackstands underneath the trailer. the side wheels appeared to be bent because of a bend in the frame. sc *jb

	Tl-the contact owns a 2009 forest river sandpiper trailer with heritage trail trac a/p tires, size lt235/85r16e. the contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph, he heard a loud abnormal noise. after moving off the roadway, he discovered that the front driver side tires exploded. the spare tire was installed on the vehicle. the dealer was later contacted and they advised that they would reimburse him for a new tire. approximately one month later while driving approximately 50 mph, the tread separated from the rear passenger side tire. the spare tire was installed. the dealer was contacted however, they offered no assistance. the vehicle and tire failure mileage was approximately 3,000. kmj

	Tl-the contact owns a 2009 forest river sandpiper with heritage trail trac a/p, size lt235/85r16e. the contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph when he heard a loud noise. after pulling over he noticed that the drivers side front tires exploded. the vehicle was repaired with the spare tire. the dealer was later contacted and they advised him that they would reimburse him for the new tire. approximately one month later and driving approximately 50 mph the driver heard a loud noise. when he stopped to inspect the vehicle he saw that passenger rear tire tread separated. the vehicle was repaired with the spare tire. the dealer was contacted and they offered no assistance. the failure mileage was approximately 3,000. tb
