	We were towing our car with tow bars attached to the receiver hitch under our rv, and the receiver hitch broke into two pieces, causing the loss of our car on i-12. we would like to know if there has been a recall on reese receiver hitches. the reese hitch is part #38500==w/d/wc7-3-97 v-5. we believe this was caused by metal fatigue. *tr

	While checking underneath the motor home owner noticed that there were two cracks in the fuel line. both cracks went from filler tube to the tank. eventually fuel will begin to leak from these cracks. four winds and a ford dealer has been contacted. the problem has not been corrected. please provide any further information. *ak

	1998 four winds motorhome cab separation. my motorhome appears to have a design or manufacturing flaw. the mounting screws/bolts that connect the cab of the van to the motorhome coach have failed. all fasteners have cracked or have broken out due to how they were designed. manufacture calls this cab separation. suggest that mine is not the only one with this problem, it is a hidden problem until the separation is extreme. i found this in april of this year when i tried to find a noise in the cab. *nlm

	Motorhome has a real rough ride. when hitting bumps the front end shakes, and driver starts to lose control of the motorhome. has to slow down while traveling at high speeds on the interstate, which is dangerous if a tractor trailer is behind, etc. the model name of the motorhome is hurrican, which is on a ford chassis. the problem has been reported to ford and four winds. the prolbem has not been corrected. *ak

	Tires on 98 ford chassis/98 fourwinds 31n motorhome: was driving 58-60mph & felt slight vibration & then heard a loud noise. notice in right side mirror tread in the road. vehicle controllable. right rear inside tire had lost tread & went flat. contact road side service & had tire exchange with same type. was some damage to motorhome. the 2nd tire blew short time later. tread was loose but still intact. firestone steeltex lt225/75r16 both tires had 28,000 miles. 1st dot vd1l1xd447; 2nd vd111xd447. *slc
