Defect SummaryVehicle description: heavy duty truck. the shoulder bolt which holds the grote turn signal switch case and components together can loosen resulting in the turn signal malfunctioning.
Consequence SummaryIf the turn signal function is lost, following motorists would not be aware of the turning vehicle, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
Corrective SummaryDealers will inspect these vehicles and tighten any loose bolts and in the turn signal switch within 2 years from the date of the recall notification letter. the shoulder bolt will be removed, cleaned, and reinstalled with loctite. owners can also request loctite and repair instructions so they can fix the vehicles themselves.

 The right front rockwell brake pulls to the right. tt consumer states the right front brakes were hotter than the other brakes, dealer replaced right front brake shoes, problem came back and dealer replaced relay valve, left and right front shoes and drums, had to have front and rear axles realigned, while traveling on a wet road, consumer lost traction and went to the left, he applied brakes and vehicle pulled hard to the right causing truck to jack knife, consumer states problem is in the front brakes. *slc
