Defect Summary	Certain honeywell fram racing brand hp4 and hp8 oil filters that were manufactured from may 25, 2006, through september 14, 2007, and sold for use as replacement equipment for vehicles list above. the affected filters are marked with a date code a61451 through a72571 sequentially. the date code and part number appear on the filter housing. fram racing hp4 and hp8 oil filters not bearing a date code in this range are not affected by this recall. the gasket of the oil filter becomes more pliable under high temperatures and pressures.
Consequence Summary	This condition may cause inadequate sealing and loss of engine oil, possibly resulting in a fire.
Corrective Summary	Honeywell will replace the affected oil filters free of charge. the recall began during november 2007. owners can contact fram customer service toll-free at 1-800-890-2075.

	Brake booster malfunctioned, causing no braking ability which may have resulted in a crash. also, driver and passenger rear seatbelts , were locked up, could not use the seatbelt and won't protect the occupant in event a crash. dealer replaced both seatbelts. the rear of cab was not welded properly. dealer had to weld the rear cab to front. rear axle seal will go out, causing oil to go into the brake shoes, resulting in no rear brakes. the engine stalled. had to get a rebuilt engine, and the manufacturer put out a tsb but has no solution. ak the engine fell apart just after warranty expired. the steering suddenly locked while the vehicle was making a turn. yh
