Defect Summary | Certain trucks and sport utility vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 110, tire selection and rims. these vehicles were shipped with tire and loading information labels listing an inacccurate vehicle capacity weight. | |||||||||||||||
Consequence Summary | A misprinted label could lead to improper vehicle loading specifications or tire inflation which could result in a tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash. | |||||||||||||||

2006 gmc canyon. consumer writes in regards to brake control module malfunction and other problems with vehicle . *smd the consumer stated the abs light illuminated, due to the failure of the brake control module. the blower motor resistor had to be replaced, because the fan knob of the climate control would only work on one setting. the left front wheel bearing, cd player, heater and front grill were replaced. |
