 Driving along rapidly with rear defroster on and blade wiping with outside temperature of about 0 degrees and with a loud blast the rear window suddenly exploded loudly into hundreds of pieces flinging shards of glass into the vehicle causing me to almost loose control of the car into a snow bank or opposing lane. now i am out $650 for a replacement but gladly no one got hurt. *tr

 Tl-the contact owns a 2006 gmc envoy. the contact stated that the driver's side door panel malfunctioned. the contact changed the fuse and immediately afterward, the door panel began to smoke. the fuse later blew and the smoke ceased. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnosis. the manufacturer was contacted and they advised that his vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign id number 12v406000 (visibility:power window devices and controls). the vehicle had not been repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 90,000. the current mileage was unavailable. kmj
