I totaled my 2004 gmc envoy on black ice, i hit my neighbor pretty much head on. my air bag did not go off nor did my seat belt hold my in place, i reported this accident and dysfunction to gm and after their investigation they said the vehicle functioned properly. i don't understand how this could be, we bought the envoy new the air bag should have deployed as well as the seat belt should have locked me in place, as it was i hit the wind shield, had swelling in my brain, i also hit the top of the envoy and came down and have two crushed vertebrae in my back still to this day, i hit the drivers door and then broke the steering column and the center console with my body, again because the air bag did not go off nor did the seat belt hold me in place. i can not understand how they (gm) can say everything functioned correctly!*tr
