| My 1998 envoy had thie same issue (which i bought new) as the used 2000 gmc diamond edition jimmy i bought to replace it after i was t-boned in aug 2009... fuel gauge is totally faulty and i have to reset the tripometer every time i fill up or will run out of gas due to false readings. as a single mommy with two kids i am scared of the idea of getting stuck on a dark highway headed in or out of town because of this. if the tripometer ever goes i will be at a loss. the key sticks in ignition and i have to turn the vehicle of and on sometimes 30 or 40 times while others only twice or so... with hundreds of complaints posted on the web... )and that is only at first glance) i have seen with these known issues i do not know what to do. | |||
