| Accelerator sticks in the up position and has to be tapped to move it to accelerate, sometimes causing a rapid acceleration. i've head people diving chevrolet trucks complain of the same problem. the brake problem is, when applying the brake and you hit a bump or the yellow indicators marking lanes on the road the truck sort of hydroplanes over them and doesn't slow down until you get on the flat part of the road again.*ak | |||

| Dt: the consumer owns a 2000 gmc pickup. when driving slow, the anti lock brakes would pulse as if it were being driven on snow. the braking distance was not correct. eventually the vehicle stopped. the consumer was afraid that one day the vehicle would not stop, and would veer onto the highway. such incidents happened at least 15 times and now it was happening more frequently. *ak (11/17/05) this problem would also occur on dry pavement. instead of stopping the vehicle would extend further in distance. *sc | |||
