| Tl*the contact owns a 2005 gmc sierra 2500 hd. while approaching a stop sign at less than 15 mph, the speedometer read 40 miles over the actual mileage traveled. the manufacturer initiated a safety improvement campaign to correct the failure on the instrument panel but the mileage on his vehicle was outside of the manufacturer's requirements. no repairs were made to correct the failure. the vin was not available. the failure mileage was under 70,000 and the current mileage was under 90,000. updated 12/07/09 *bf updated 12/09/09.*jb | |||
