 Tl-the contact owns a 2007 gmc sierra 3500. the vehicle was burning oil faster than normal. the manufacturer was notified and informed him the vehicle can burn 1 quart of oil every 1,000 miles while operating as normal. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the turbo was resealed but the failure continues to recur. he also mentioned that while driving over bumps he can hear the doors shifting inside of the door frame. the manufacturer was notified and informed him the vehicle was operating as normal. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where some of the body bolts were tightened but the failure continues to recur. he was advised to oil the doors to reduce the amount of noise he hears while driving over bumps. the failure mileage was 36,000 and the current mileage was 58,000. sm.
