| When i purchased the vehicle in march, the gas gauge did not work. i am not sure when it stopped working. i would really like for this to be fixed, so that i do not run out of gas again. ( i was sitting on the side of the road with my 65 year old mother and my 16 month old granddaughter.) please let me know if this can be fixed and if it is under any recalls. | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2000 gmc yukon denali. while driving 65 mph, the vehicle suddenly stalled and shut off. the contact was able to pull the vehicle onto the shoulder and had it towed to the dealer. the fuel pressure pump and ecm were diagnosed as the causes of the failure. the dealer replaced the fuel delivery pump and fuses at the cost of $850.26. a report was filed with the manufacturer. the manufacturer stated that the vin was not included in the fuel system recall. however, if the recall happens to expand to include more vehicles, the contact could be reimbursed for the repair cost. the failure mileage was 78,374 and current mileage was 139,000. | |||

| Dt*: the contact stated while starting the vehicle the engine will turn over but not start. the contact has replaced the fuel pump three times, but this has not repaired the problem. there is nhtsa recall. # 05v155000, regarding the fuel pump; however, this vehicle is not included in the recall due to the vin. updated 06/01/2006. *ak | |||
