| When the top right hinge broke away from the glass on the rear door of my 2003 yukon denali (~50,000 mi.), and after discussing it with my dealer, i thought it was an isolated case. the resulting twisting of the misaligned window has caused the left hinge bond to partially crack and separate as well. my vehicle is garaged 90+% of the time and i seldom used the rear window. currently, the only thing holding this window to the vehicle is the door lock and one partial (left) hinge. it is a disaster waiting to happen. my dealer would not do anything, other than replace the entire back door at $1,000. my insurance company wouldn't either saying there was no broken glass. i feel the above defect, along with over 100 forum exact same descriptions are just a small portion of this total problem with both the chevy and gmc vehicles of this era. | |||
