Tl*the contact owns a 2007 gmc yukon xl 1500. while driving 55-60 mph, the cruise control feature would only work during mid-level road elevations. the vehicle would accelerate on its own. the failure almost caused two near crashes. the dealer and manufacturer stated that nothing could be done and it was not a safety defect or concern. the failure mileage was 3,500 and current mileage was 15,000. updated 02-19-2008 *bf updated 02/19/08 *tr
