| Power windows in driver and passenger side failed. the motor, regulator, cable, and pulley break down and gets tangled inside and jams up. the entire system needed to be replaced, the driver side went the end of the summer of 2004 and the passenger side went the middle of april. the window does not move | |||

| Passenger door window regulator, 2000 gmc yukon xl. want to know if there is a problem with this since it seems there is a shortage of this part. and that info comes straight from gm. i have been waiting since april 6th for this part and am told that it will be mid-may sometime when i may actually get it. they said the demand for this part has been great they ran out. i would like an investigation into this matter, why would there be a shortage of this window regulator and a high demand for this if there wasn't a problem. *ak | |||

| Approx 6 months ago rear passenger side power window stopped working, recently front passenger side power window does not work....unknown how this happened...i replaced door switch, but it did not correct problem. i also checked fuses. i removed rear door panel and checked wiring,ok/ i tapped window motor and it began to work. shortly after it quit working again. *ak | |||

| First passenger window stopped working, found out it was the window regulator. have been waiting for the part for months. i have been told by both gm and my auto part store there is a shortage and the auto part store says alot of gm owners have been requesting that part. still waiting and driver window is starting to go. there must be a problem. please check into. *nm | |||
