The back glass on our 2004 gmc yukon xl broke at the right hinge at first. we hardly ever opened the back glass, so that shouldn't have been an issue. today the left back glass hinge broke. i have searched for a recall on this, however there isn't one. gmc is aware and acknowledges the problem but isn't willing to repair the issue. found many forums where other gmc & chevy owners are facing the same problem. it can be fixed for around $1000.00 but since it is appartently a defect on their end.....why should we have to pay for it? please help!!!
