STRUCTURE - BODY - HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE - HINGE AND ATTACHMENTS
01/01/2007107/16/2004
In sept. of 2007, i noticed a squeaking noise each time i opened the back hatch. when i investigated the source, i opened the back hatch window and the hinges that held the glass to the body of the car were separating causing the window to fall away on a tilt. i can no longer open the window for fear it will completely come away from the vehicle. it is a huge safety concern and i can no longer open the back hatch at all any longer. the vehicle has never been hit or damaged in any way and the back window has rarely been used in the 3 years i have owned it. i have found websites with people complaining of the same safety issues with the hinges. *tr
