EQUIPMENT - RECREATIONAL VEHICLE

I purchased our motor home from the original owner in may of 2007 and was unaware of any refrigerator recall, upon receiving the recall notice in december 2008; i immediately scheduled an appointment and took it to camperworld in fife, washington. there it was inspected and denied repair because the unit had already begun leaking and according to the camperworld representative our refrigerator is no longer covered under the recall. yet, the recall notice specifically mentions leakage or staining as a warning sign. to offer a recall on the unit due to a potential leak and then to decline to make the repair because it is leaking is ridiculous. i then called the dometic number on the recall notice only to be told that i must purchase a new refrigerator. how can that be? considering that dometic corporation is recalling over 925,000 units for this very problem and then to say that since the problem is actually now happening that the unit is no longer covered is unbelievable. *tr updated 02/10/09. *jb
POWER TRAIN - AXLE ASSEMBLY

Motorhomes weight on rear axle exceeds maximum weight limit with motorhome completely empty. rear axle gross axle weight rating is 9,450 lbs. actual weight empty is 9,530 lbs. when motorhome is loaded with items needed for a trip rear axle weight can reach approximately 11,300lbs. this constant condition of being over weight on the rear axle has lead to the failure of six tires in the last 33,000 miles. two of the tire failures did considerable damage to the coach body, electical, propane systems. the motorhome manufacturer was contacted after it was determined what was causing the tire failures. the motorhome company has taken the stand that this is not a liability issue for them and has not been willing to offer any solution to the over load problem. in it's current condition the motor home can not be used for the intended purpose it was built for and is not safe for operation on the highway.
Chassis and rear axle are not sufficient for vehicle's weight load. this has caused vehicle to pull to right or left while driving. please give any further details.*ak
