Tie down straps with cam buckles sold by harley davidson. the straps have 1800 pound load ratings and are manufactured by ancra. these are similar in design to the recalled harley davidson tie down cam buckles with 1200 pound load (harley davidson recall number 0142, dated april 1, 2010). the straps have failed twice, as the buckle allows slippage and load shift. no injuries or damages occurred, luckily. harley davidson refused to refund purchase price through the selling dealer, harley-davidson of macon, inc. i have contact both harley davidson in milwaukee and the ancra company in kentucky.
