Harley davidson reports engine failures occur as a result of cam bearing failure. harley will not supply information necessary for me to determine if my engine is subject to failure. therefore, i am unable to determine if i should spend the $806.00 required to replace the bearings. engine failure on a motorcycle can be deadly and it is imperitive that harley davidson provide a detailed description of the reasons and causes of this bearing failure so that i can determine if i need to make repairs. any help you can provide will be appreciated.*ak
