| Defect Summary | Vehicle description: motorcycles. the certification label incorrectly indicates the front tire size as 100/90-19 57h instead of the corret designation mh90-21 56h. also the certification labels do not contain the correct model designation. this does not meet the requirements of fmvss no. 120, tire selection and rims for motor vehicles other than passenger cars. | |||||||||||||||

| Tl- the contact owns a 1999 harley davidson heritage softtail motorcycle. on october 2, 2010 the contact noticed gas on the ground and found that all the gas leaked out of the gas tank when he took the gas cap off the gas pressure released. the manufacturer took report 1140210 and advised the vin wasn't included in recall 99v200000 fuel system, gasoline:storage:tank assembly. the motorcycle will be taken to the dealer to be repaired. the failure and the current mileage were 25,0000. li | |||
