Defect SummaryCertain motorhomes fail to comply with federal motor vehicle safety standard nos. 207, seating systems and 210, seat bet assembly anchorages. the bolt and lock nut connecting the driver and passenger seats to the slide track were not installed correctly. incorrect hardware was also used to secure the seat pedestal to the floor mounts.
Consequence SummaryIn some crash conditions, incorrect installation could allow the driver and/or passenger seat pedestal/frame to become loose, which could result in death or injury to the seat occupant.

 Dad: 2001 holiday rambler endeavor diesel. when the vehicle was filled with diesel, it overflowed from under the rv. this happened five six times and again last week, there was not much lost at the filling station. when the vehicle was taken home,it was still leaking. the repair shop at the factory states did not have a problem like this. the vehicle has not been taken to dealership to be inspected. *ak

 In july 2003 first tire on holiday rambler 5th wheel trailer developed sidewall bulge on august 11, 2005 another tire threw tread on august 17, 2005 a third tire deflated due to separation - tread not thrown. of original goodyear wrangler ht lt235/85r16 tires on trailer, three have failed trailer purchased may, 2001. tires all had over 1/4 tread left at time of failures. trailer has approximately 20,000 miles of traveling since purchase. all tires have been properly maintained and not abused.
