| Both the speedometer and tachometer often conflict one another making actual vehicle speed impossible to know with any certainty. sometimes the tachometer will read correctly compared with previous tachometer readings at certain speeds but the reading is usually erratic. the speedometer has also been seen to jump avout 5 mph when cruising at a steady pace and the speedometer will continue to read incorrectly. upon following a friend and consulting about the speed driven, i find that the speedometer often stated that i was driving 5 or 10 mph less than the reading shown on the speedometer. | |||
