| My problem is not with my vehicle, but with the car seat installation. i was in the child safety screen which prompted me to this complaint form. i have searched for information for 3 years on how to install my infant car seat correctly. i have 2 kids, so 2 car seats must be installed on both sides of the back seat. the shoulder seat belt is what must be used in these positions, but they are never secure. when i turn a sharp corner, the carseat shifts to a sideways position. i have tried a locking clip, but i can't get that to work either. also, i think infant car seats are designed unsafely. my infant's head always ends up at her feet when she falls asleep. i was told to put a stack of towels underneath the seat to help the angle of the seat. that does not work satisfactorily either. what would happen in a crash if my baby were sleeping and totally flopped over like that? i am not satisfied that my children are riding safely in their seats and i definitely need some answers. | |||
