| My wife was parking the car at approx 5 mph. she had her foot on the brake but suddenly the car accelerated itself and crashed into the wall 2-3 feet away. the 2 airbags deployed breaking the windshield, the front of the car have severe damages and my wife broke 4 bones in her right foot trying to stop the car by stepping hard on the brake. | |||

| The vehicle has been maintained & properly serviced. it has never experienced any problems. fortunately, when this incident occurred, i was on my way to the honda repair shop. i was told that this problem was unpreventable and unpredictable. i was told that if the car had been traveling at any faster speed, the engine would have shut down, resulting in thousands of dollars of damage. the service manager told me that he was seeing 2-3 hondas per week with this problem. this car is in excellent condition and apparently there is nothing that could have prevented this incident. i feel that under different circumstances a serious accident could have occurred. this is a problem that honda needs to address immediately. i am interested to know the history of this problem and if i am entitled to reimbursement. no safety defect mentioned in the summary. *ak | |||

| Engine oil seal dislodged while traveling on the highway. caused all of the oil to drain out within a matter of several seconds. brakes needed to be replaced at round 20,000 miles. odometer failed to record mileage correctly. it would stick and needed to be replaced at 32,000 miles. | |||
