| I bought a 1994 honda accord on february 2, 2010. after having the vehicle for about a week, the left tire rod broke on the car.,,,, it was towed to a service center to get repaired on 2/13/2010, then as i drove the car on 2/16/2010, the steering wheel pulled very hard to the right enabling me to steer, and crashed me into a big curve...i was rushed to the hospital and had to undergo 2 surgeries with having to get a tracheostomy in place..i still have it as of today. i am undergoing therapy,outpatient surgery and frequent er visits.. | |||

| On march 10, 2004 my wife was travelling south on i-5 in tualatin, or, when suddenly the automobile went out of control and veered sharply to the right. the automobile went over an embankment, and down into a large ditch. my wife was seriously injured, and is still recovering today. she experienced a double fracture of her right heel, five broken ribs, a severely lacerated right arm and wrist, a lacerated right knee, internal injuries, a collapsed right lung, and massive chest contusions. the internal chest injuries have resulted in 4 liters of fluid on the lungs, and pneumonia. her automobile was a 1994 honda accord ex 2 dr., and it was totaled. investigation has revealed that this model honda has experienced lower front ball joint failure which can cause loss of control of the vehicle, and a severe accident. this is exactly what happened to my wife. honda issued a recall letter on this defect, but my wife never did receive any such letter. i have written to honda motor car co., they have investigated the accident, but i have heard nothing from them. *ak | |||

| The car pulls towards the left very strongly and you need to apply force to keep it straight. i got all of the wheels aligned, but it didn't have any effect. the exhaust system makes unnecessarily lot of noise, the gas indicator does not show the full indicator. the trunk hydraulic opening system doesn't work properly even though the dealer replaced it under teh warranty, still it is the same problem. *ak | |||

| I was driving in my car on february 22, 2006 and the entire drivers side front wheel and suspension collapsed. the tire and wheel literally came off the vehicle as i was traveling in a straight line at 30 miles per hour. i was fortunate enough to slow the car down and immediately pull over on the side of the road without injury. the police had the car towed and the mechanic later made the repair. he told me the lower ball joint was defective. *jb | |||

| While driving at 70 mph, right lower ball joint cracked and broke, causing the wheel to come off. front left lower ball joint on passengers side disengaged shortly after and broke. *ak consumer could not steer the vehicle due to the vehicle slamming down to the pavement, however the vehicle slid off to the right without hitting anything, the failure also caused the axle to be torn out of the transmission/engine block, consumer states that the break on both faulty ball joints is at the same place, consumer is requesting reimbursement for the repair costs. *slc | |||
