The window regulators and power door locks on the honda's i own keep failing and cost more than 300 dollars to repair. this seems to be a systemic problem on the honda's. i have had this happen on all 4 doors of my 2000 honda accord and 2 doors on my 2004 honda pilot. honda needs to do a recall and fix this issue. people shouldn't have to pay for a systemic issue in the car, which can be a safety issue as well as you can't put the windows down or up once this happens. *tr

I have a 2000 honda accord v6. it has been a great car until recently. my door on the drivers side has locked and will not open. i have been to the dealership and they informed me that it would cost approx. 800.00 to fix. this is clearly a manufacturer problem. i am working with honda to try and get them to fix it. i just hope that the other side does not do that. this is my only means of transportation and i would hate to have my 4 yr. old niece with me and something happen and we could not get out of the car. if there's anything that could be reported publicly about this, i would appreciate it. before someone gets hurt due to the malfunction of the latches on the doors. *nm

LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES - TRUNK LID - LOCK

I've a 2000 honda accord. after driving for 4-5 years, the trunk kept popping up every where i went. i had to pull over, closed the trunk and it would pop open again. i bought the car to several mechanics and they weren't able to fix it. i am about to replace the lock in the trunk in order to keep it lock. under normal wear and tear, the lock in the trunk shouldn't break like that. *nm
