Wheel bearing failures: replace left front wheel bearing under warranty around 33,000 miles. replaced right front wheel bearing around 68,000. not covered under warranty. manufacturer paid nothing. found right front wheel bearing starting to go bad. had replaced at no cost in july of 2003. (only had 9,000 miles on it. however, upon inspection during replacement of right front, technician found both rear wheel bearing to be going bad. that will be a total of five wheel bearing replaced before 100,000 miles. never had a wheel bearing issue on any other car!!! | |||

Consumer complains of a design flaw concerning the dimension of the wheels, the wall protrudes out farther than the wall of the tires, when pulling in to park, this efect has caused substantial damage to the surface of the wheel. *jg | |||

Dt: 2000 honda accord. lugs:nuts broke off. had not contacted the dealership. the consumer contacted a local garage and paid to have lugs:nuts put back on. also, contactedthe manufacturer, and was told they had no recalls, and consumer requested the number for nhtsa to file a complaint. purchase vehicle in 2000. the consumer tried to rotate the tires and the lugs:nuts broke off. this was a safety issue. *ak | |||

Consumer complains of a design flaw concerning the dimension of the wheels, the wall protrudes out further than the wall of the tires, when parallel parking or simply pulling up to a curb, the wheel makes initial contact with a curb, the impact is absorbed by the wheel which has caused substantial damage to the surface of the wheel. *jg *slc |
