To whom it may concern: there is a huge safety problem with the passenger air bag sensor in my car. the passenger seat airbag indicator lights comes on intermittently when no items are in the seat, and occasionally comes when items are in the seat. the seat definitely has a short in it and i am concerned about it not working properly if i am involved in an accident. ## vin passed ##

Ball bearing fell out of seat track at 50,000 miles. there was no trauma to the car. the seat now moves 1/4 to 1/2 inch upon starting and stopping. the safety concern is whether the seat is more likely to break free if an accident occurs or if there could be a spontaneous further failure of the seat. negotiations with honda for repair are in progress but have been unsatisfactory. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2004 honda accord. the contact stated that after six months, his legs would become numb and he felt pain while driving the vehicle. the dealer was notified of the issue, but did not assist. the contact bought a therapeutic pillow for the driver's seat, which resolved the pain. he also stated that there was no tint on the windshield to block the sunlight. the current and failure mileages were 36,000.

Ever since the car was purchased i have had a problem with the front driver's seat (automatic seats) moving in a sudden stop. the dealership replaced the seat track which seemed to fix the problem for a few months but the problem has returned. the past two times i've taken the car in for routine maintenance i mentioned the seat feels loose again but they say there is nothing wrong with the seat and have done nothing further to correct the problem. i am very worried about what could happen in an accident.

I have had several instances in the past few month's where the seat has moved forward on it's own. this was caused from hard braking. amount of movement was from a 1/4 to 1 inch. this is very much a serious safety issue. honda is going to repair the tracks, but i felt a need to report this issue. *nm

My driver and passenger power seats have forward movement when stopping. noticed this a few weeks after buying the car. there is about a 1/2 inch movement in the seats.at first dealer tried to say this was normal. dealer has replaced seat rails one time, fixed problem for about 2 weeks. problem returned and got worse. i spoke with district rep he told dealer to replace seat rails again. dealer had car for 1 week but did not replace rails. i have had the car back two more times for the same problem. dealer refuses to replace seat, says that honda knows about the problem and is working on a fix. dearler adds that this fix could take up to 6 mo. to a year, just not sure when they will have a fix.. i am affraid in the event of an accident these seats could break loose. in my mind this is a serious safety issue.*ak

On multiple occasions (the last makes at least three times, maybe more) the rear seat of the vehicle becomes soaked after rain. on the first occasion the dealer said they repaired some type of harness/gromet that wasn't sealed at the factory. initially the water was only coming through the passenger side and the latest occurance happened on the driver side. this time they have removed the fuel tank to address the problem. the rear seat and seat belts have now been replaced multiple times. *ak waiting for the next rain...

On two known occasions the passenger rear seat of my vehicle is saturated after driving on wet roadways. i am usually the only passenger in the vehicle and both times this has occurred i was transporting other persons that noticed the problem. i took it in to be repaired and was told there was a seal that wasn't fastened properly at the assembly of the car. the service department mentioned, a harness, grommets and some type of seal. this second time i was told that they found the seal was again not proper. i have concerns of mold, mildew and other potential water damage. especially since it is rare that i would notice because my vehicle mainly transports myself and rarely others, that would notice the problem.*ak
