I purchased bridgestone tires (4) april 2009 - replacing the same brand/type. they started out noisy and became progressively noisy. the prior set did not exhibit this problem. i have rotated the tires, but the problem continues and is far worse. this is an ongoing problem with the incident occurring upon purchase.

2004 honda accord ex 5-speed manual: dec. 2009 with 1st use of original equipment goodyear (t135/90d15 part # 818216253) donut spare tire noticed rough ride to tire shop. ask employee to repair my flat and look over the donut spare plus rotate tires. nothing unusual noted on donut spare. jan. 2010 hit pothole with repaired tire which causes it to go flat. installed goodyear donut spare. next morning noticed spare was flat. valve stem broken; added air twice in order to limp to tire shop. they wouldn't touch the spare and referred me to honda. left car at tire store. next morning went to my honda parts and service dealer location with spare. we noticed a hard bulge in spare sidewall. said they don't warranty any tires only tire stores do. only help they could give me was to send me to a local tire shop. discount tire tried in vain to locate a new goodyear donut spare and could only find a used (manufactured week 31 of 1996) after convincing goodyear that spare was defective (air bubble formed inside spare tire then tore). how is it that goodyear doesn't make a widely used product? or have these donut spares been fraught with such problems that the product is being outlawed? *tr

I was driving the car when the tire was punctured and the puncture went through the aluminum rim. i took the tire and rim to sears and they advised that this was not normal; they thought that the rim was defective. it is one thing for a nail to go through a tire, but it should not go through the rim. *tr

Pep boys, definity tires, hx700, size p205/60hr16. i have had 2 different tires on my 2004 honda accord just lose air pressure. the first one while just sitting in my driveway just go flat. filled it back up to proper pressure drove for a week or 2 and same thing happened, it just went flat.....then it happened a third time and took the car back to pep boys and they replaced it and has not happened since.....at least to that tire and i have been closely watching them all. until the other day.....when a different one went down on me......no punctures were found and the tire was replaced. i personally believe there is a sidewall defect with these tires.....they are not strong enough and i mostly do interstate driving. pep boys thought that there might be something wrong with my wheels, but when my first tire went down and i took it to them to be checked they dropped in the tub of water with no leaks......and 1 of the technicians mentioned the sidewall which makes good sense. so that is that and i have 2 more tires that i am watching closely. *tr

TIRES - SIDEWALL

I bought a new 2004 honda accord. i was driving it today when a softball size bubble appeared on the sidewall. a major honda dealer said they had never seen anything like that. the local michelin dealer said it was not a defective tire. how can a softball size balloon just appear all of the sudden on the sidewall. if i had been traveling at 70 mph it might have killed me and my daughter. i want michelin to replace this tire and the other three free of charge and also inspect the thickness of sidewalls used on 2004 honda accord ex models. the tire had 20,000 miles on it. speed rating on the tire is 91v size 260/16. i have digital pictures taken by the honda dealer (hugh white honda, columbus, oh. *jb
