 Tl-the contact owns a 2007 honda accord equipped with bridgestone turanza el41 tires, tire size p195/65r15. the dot number was unknown. while the contact was driving approximately between 65 -70 mph,the front passenger side tire exploded unexpectedly. the vehicle was maneuvered to the side of the road and towed to an independent mechanic where the tire was replaced with a new tire. the identical failure occurred with the rear passenger tire which was replaced. the contact stated prior to the failures the tires were inspected by a certified mechanic who informed that the tires exhibited good tire tread. the contact had concern of the potential safety risk involved with the other two tires installed on the vehicle. the failure mileage was approximately 19,700. js

 Tl*- the contact owns a 2007 honda accord. the vehicle had michelin pilot tires 215/55r17. while driving 65 mph and attempting to slow down, the contact heard a loud noise coming from the vehicle. the vehicle spun out of control and crashed into a concrete divider and ended on the other side of the road. the driver stated that it was a severe crash. the driver confirmed that the rear passenger tire blew out. one of the passengers was taken to the hospital; however, there were no injuries sustained. a police report was filed. there were no prior warnings signs of the tire being defective. the vehicle was less than one year old. the failure occurred in august 2008. the dot number was unknown. the failure mileage was 4,000.

 I owen a 2007 honda accord model lx 4 dr. 6 cyl. the car is equipped with michelin pilot mxm4 p215/50r17 93v xl rrbl tires. at 4000 miles the left front tire developed a bubble on the side. i replaced at my cost. at 8000 miles the right front tire developed a bubble. i replaced it my cost. the tire dealer said it was the car design and the car dealer said it was the tire. i am reporting this because i have been driving for 50 years and owen numerous cars and never had this problem. please advise . thank you *tr

 Tire blew out the first time we took the new honda accord on the interstate. the car barely had 1,300 miles on it when this happened. two shops mentioned that honda/michelin has had problems with these particular tires and they are now substituting a different tire. obviously we had to purchase one new tire but now the vehicle has mismatched michelins since the original is not available anymore. *tr

 I have a bulge on the side of my tire, my husband took it to honda they said he probably hit a pot hole, and we are liable for the tire which was quoted at $300.00. i am going to a michelin dealer on sept. 4, to check out the tire. i have 2000 miles on the car leased it in april of 2007 and the dealer says i hit a pot hole. i told him the bulge is on the side of the tire and do i have to buy a new tire everytime i hit a pothole. my car is brand new, i have a ford taurus with cheap tires and never had a problem. your help is would be greatly appreciated. is there any way i can find out if this happens to many tires? *tr
